Concord: The Revolutionary Town Concord Museum guided walking tours of Concord - specially-designed walking tour takes you into the town that was witness to the beginnings of the American Revolution and the "shot heard round the world." Through the lives of saddler Reuben Brown and cabinetmaker Joseph Hosmer this walking tour brings to life the people and places of April 1775. $12.59 Adult, $9 Senior, $7.50 Child/Museum Member. Reservations requested; walk-ins on a space available basis.
"Henry Thoreau and the Two Revolutions" Celebrate at Walden Pond with local historian Richard Smith as he portrays Henry David Thoreau. Learn, first hand, about the two historic revolutions in Concord: the Revolution of 1775 and the Literary Revolution. Meet at the House Replica next to the parking lots. Free program/Parking $5. |

Re-enactment of the Battle on Lexington Green in Lexington Local British and American Revolutionary War re-enactors depict the skirmish that took place on Lexington Green early in the morning of April 19th. Witness the tensions mount as the King's Regulars are confronted by local Minute and Militia companies and the battle which ensues. |

Candlelight Remembrance Ceremony The North Bridge and The Old Manse Luminary and song program honoring all those that fought at The North Bridge on April 19th, 1775. Approximately 600 luminaries on either side of the bridge represent those present at the battle. The program includes a performance and sing-a-long of historic and patriotic songs. Cross to the North Field of The Manse for refreshments afterwards. Please bring a flashlight. |

Battle Road Heroes Hartwell Tavern, Battle Road Enter the world of 1775 and walk down a candle-lit path into the past. Along the way, encounter characters from the era who witnessed the events of April 19th, 1775 - Ephraim and Elizabeth Hartwell, Captain William Smith, British soldiers, musicians and drovers - a special evening of theater and history. Admission is $5 per person with proceeds to benefit the Minute Man National Park Association. |
